In Sabirabad police broke up a meeting of activists of the Popular Front

This morning in Sabirabad police broke up the meeting of the local branch of the Popular Front (PPFA). The spokesman for PPFA Natig Adilov reported on Facebook the meeting was held in the yard of a private house of one of the local activists - Sahib Rustamli.

Police broke into the yard and began to disperse the crowd, turning the tables upside down and forcing everyone out. At the same time, violence and abuse were imposed on the family members of Rustamli.

The Deputy Chairman of the Popular Front Gezal Bayramly regarded the actions of the authorities, as a deliberate provocation.

A similar situation took place today in the Nij village of the Gabala region at a meeting of activists of the Popular Front Party with workers and small business representatives.

Police came to the local tea house, where the meeting was conducted, and threatened the participants.

In the end, the police and members of the executive authorities took the meeting “under control,” fixing everything that was said, the head of the youth committee of PPFA Abulfaz Gurbanly told Turan. -16D-
