The Prime Minister of Turkey Ahmet Davutoglu will pay an official visit to Azerbaijan on December 3-4, the Turkish news agency Anadolu reported.
During the visit, Davutoglu will hold talks with President Ilham Aliyev face to face and with the participation of delegations.
In addition, a meeting will be arranged with the Azerbaijani Prime Minister Arthur Rasizadeh.
The meetings and talks will be dedicated to regional issues, bilateral relations and the Karabakh conflict, the agency said.
Many experts predict that the main theme of the meetings in Baku will be the aggravation of Turkish-Russian relations and ways to improve them. As is known, official Baku has offered to mediate in the normalization of these relations after the destruction of the Russian Su-24 bomber aircraft, which violated the airspace of Turkey.
In addition, the parties will consider the likely reorientation to Azerbaijan of the transport routes from Turkey to Central Asia, which are still going through Russia. -02D-
