Turkmenistan is optimistic regarding the status of the Caspian Sea
Turkmenistan will take part in consultations at the level of foreign ministers of the Caspian states on April 22 in Moscow. According to the Turkmenistan.ru, this question was specifically discussed at a government meeting. The Deputy Prime Minister, Foreign Minister of Turkmenistan Rashid Meredov noted on the matter that the agenda of the forthcoming consultation on the preparations for the fourth summit of Caspian states, which is scheduled in Astrakhan in September this year. President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov praised the value of the fourth Caspian Summit, designed to give a new impetus to the negotiation process aimed at achieving a consensus of all parties on topical issues of the Caspian issues.
