Baku / 10.11.17 / Turan: The State Agency for Compulsory Medical Insurance organized a week of health dedicated to the prevention of scoliosis (curvature of the spine), the agency said. The health week was held from October 13 to 26 in the city of Mingachevir and Yevlakh region. In Yevlakh region, in 33 schools, 9228 schoolchildren were examined for scoliosis. As a result of the survey, 574 schoolchildren had an initial stage of scoliosis, and they were sent for a more detailed examination to the doctors of this specialization. -05D04

The Interior Ministry reports that employees of the Department for Combating Illegal Migration identified and detained 34 foreigners without documents giving the right to reside and stay on the territory of Azerbaijan.
