A sortie of Azerbaijanis to a tank near Shusha, and the opening of Tural Ganjaliyev's office in Khankend
Baku/07.04.21/Turan: On April 6, four Azerbaijani soldiers bypassed the peacekeepers' checkpoint near the city of Shusha and entered the highway leading to Khankend. Approaching the monument with a tank that took part in the capture of Shushi in 1992, the soldiers painted Armenian tablets and left. This was reported by the pro-Armenian resource Wargonzo, citing local sources.
The Armenians regarded this as a violation of the ceasefire agreement and complained to the peacekeepers.
Another reason for the discontent of the Armenians was the statement of the head of the Azerbaijani community of Karabakh, Tural Ganjaliyev that his office would soon open in Khankend.
Representative of the Armenian separatists Lusine Avanesyan called this statement "the fruit of the sick fantasy of the Azerbaijani side, passed off as reality." She stated that Azerbaijanis will never open an office in Khankend, they even cannot visit it. -02D-
