Another action of protest of the depositors of "Bank Standart"
Baku / 03.09.20 / Turan: On Thursday, a group of depositors of the liquidated "Bank Standart" held another rally in front of the Central Bank building, demanding the return of their money.
They chanted an appeal to the head of the Central Bank, Elman Rustamov, to go out and give explanation. At the same time, the depositors called Rustamov a “thief”. “Elman come out, thief, come out!” they chanted. However, no one left the bank, and the police did not interfere with the action.
* Chairman of the Depositors' Committee Shahin Ahmedov told Turan that in January this year more than 10 thousand Azerbaijani citizens had not received their money from the "Bank Standart." Among them are those who have invested up to 30 thousand dollars - 400 people.
