Azerbaijani Defense Ministry criticizes statement of the OSCE Minsk Group
The Azerbaijani Defense Ministry expressed "astonishment" and "disappointment" with the statement of co-Chairs of the OSCE Minsk Group regarding the downed Armenian military helicopter in Karabakh on 12 November .
In particular dissatisfaction was caused due to the phrase "neutral" zone, despite it happened at the territory of Azerbaijan, which is occupied by Armenia. Other phrases that displease Baku became a proposal to provide a "humanitarian pass" to the wreckage of a downed helicopter.
The Defense Ministry also condemned the use of phrases about "clearance area" and "ceasefire".
"All these calls are completely unfounded and only serve the interests of the Armenian side," said the statement the Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan.
Further, the Defense Ministry said that this is possible only in one case - with the full and unconditional withdrawal of Armenian forces from the occupied territories of Azerbaijan.
In its statement, the OSCE Minsk Group called on Baku to solve the question on issuing bodies of victims of the Armenian pilots of the helicopter. -02D-
