Azerenergy about Causes of Yesterday's Failure in Supplying Electricity to Baku
Baku / 21.07.18 / Turan: The night before yesterday, part of Baku was again de-energized. Azerenergy OJSC explained this with short circuits on two high voltage transmission lines.
According to the official report, on July 20 at 22:20 in Baku, for an unknown reason, a wire break occurred due to a short circuit on the high-voltage power lines 8 Km and Hazi Aslanov.
As a result, the supply of electricity in the Nizami and Khatai districts of Baku was restricted, Azerenergy reported.
At the same time, Azerenergy refuted the information of the energy distributing company Azerishig OJSC about the suspension of the Shimal (North) power plant in the Mardakan settlement. No changes were observed in the work of this power plant, Azerenergy asserts.
Recall that energy blackouts occurred at night and on the evening of July 3 because of accidents at Mingachevir Thermal Power Plant.
July 12, Baku and many areas also stayed without light for several hours, and this was explained with fires in wheat fields under high voltage power lines in the Agsu and Yevlakh districts. -06D-
