CEC Published Preliminary Results of Parliamentary Elections
CEC announced the preliminary results of the parliamentary elections. According to these reports, the party New Azerbaijan received 71 seats in the 125-seat parliament.
In addition, there are representatives of 11 other political parties. So, representatives of the parties Fatherland, Social Welfare, Unified Azerbaijan Popular Front, Great Creation, Democratic Reforms, Civil Unity, and National Revival Movement kept their places.
The Civil Solidarity Party reduced the number of seats from 3 to 2.
First elected were representatives of the Social Democratic Party, the Vahdat (Unity) Party and the Democratic Education Party.
The remaining positions are occupied by non-party deputies. The fate of the seat remains unclear in one district - the 35th Khatai Third. There, after processing 18% of the ballots, the head of the Social Democratic Party Araz Alizadeh is in the lead. However, the leader of the party Umid (Hope) is a little behind.
In general, the parliament has been renewed at about a quarter. Note that the leader of the Justice Party Ilyas Ismailov has not been elected to the parliament. -06D--
