The Azerbaijan newspaper assesses the period after the presidential elections of April 11, 2018. The author writes, then by voting for Ilham Aliyev, the citizens voted for stability and well-being. The article recalls the work done over the past year since the election of Ilham Aliyev as President.
The newspaper Yeni Musavat writes about the rise in price of building materials, in particular, cement and stone cubes. Currently, the price of one bag of cement Norm is 6 manat 80 gapiks and above. The website Modern.az writes about a series of fires in hostels for displaced people. The head of the State Committee for Refugees, Rovshan Rzayev, said that the increasing number of fires in the hostels where the internally displaced persons live create ground for suspicion. This question should be investigated, he believes.
Recall that the last fire was on April 10 in one of the buildings of the Azersutikinti hospital, and there were victims.
On March 6, during a fire, two people died in a hostel for IDPs in the Narimanov district of the capital.
The website Azpolitika.info writes about the execution of the presidential decree in connection with problem loans. According to the MP Ali Masimli, there are problems with the implementation of decrees and orders. Employees of banks create problems for citizens by demanding payment in the same order, without taking into account the presidential decree.
