After the head of state signed the decree in April 2018 on the payment of one-time assistance to Martyr families in the amount of 11,000 manat, heirs to 3,100 martyrs received such assistance, and 34 million AZN was allocated for this. Funds are still issued to heirs to 6,444 martyrs.
The newspaper Yeni Musavat writes about the salaries of teachers. The author makes a comparison with the salaries of teachers in other countries. In particular, in the USA, Great Britain, Germany, France, Australia and Japan, the salaries of teachers are 10 times higher - from three to five thousand dollars.
