Baku/01.12.21/Turan: The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Azerbaijan has spread a message about today's action on the Fountain Square in the center of Baku.
According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, "on December 1, at about 15:00, a group of people" tried to hold an uncoordinated action on Fountain Square, violating the rules of the special quarantine regime in the country."
The attempt was resolutely suppressed by the police. The organizers of the illegal action, as well as several people who tried to resist the police, were detained, while others were removed from the territory.
An investigation is underway to legally assess the actions of the detainees, the report said. — 06D-
