Ogtay Gyulalyev’s Life Still in Danger - Wife
Baku / 01.11.19 / Turan: The family of Ogtay Gyulalyev plans to transfer the human rights activist from the City Hospital private clinic to the Center for Neurosurgery. This was reported by his wife Firangiz Gyulalyeva.
“Yesterday (October 31) a doctor from the Center for Neurosurgery came to operate on Ogtay.
According to the doctors, Ogtay will come out of a coma no earlier than 21 days later. Doctors explain this by the fact that he was taken on an operation late.
According to them, the threat to life remains, and the 3rd and 7th days after the operation are critical. Now the doctors’ task is to prevent possible repeated hemorrhage,” the victim’s spouse said.
According to her, a neurologist and a neuropathologist should be on duty around the clock near Gyulalyev. Since City Hospital does not have such an opportunity, the family wants to transfer him to the Center for Neurosurgery, if his condition allows. —06D-
