Oilmen are evacuated because of stormy weather
Baku / 24.04.17 / Turan: In connection with the stormy weather, the leadership of SOCAR has evacuated more than 200 oilmen from the sea overpasses, Turan's relatives said. According to the telephone message sent to the oil industry, on 24-25 April the force of the northern wind at sea will reach 34 meters per second, and the wave height will be 5-7 meters. At the same time, instructions were given to strengthen security measures and ensure constant on-shore watch. Such measures are because over the past two years in the Caspian sea died more oil workers than during the whole history of development of offshore oil and gas fields. Experts explain this by the presence of outdated infrastructure and the neglect of security measures.-05B-
