Prosecutors refute pressure on journalist
Baku/16.05.19/Turan: The editor of the website criminal.az Anar Mammadov was summoned to the Baku city prosecutor's office on May 15, however, he was not given any recommendation to stop criticizing SOCAR. This is stated in the press service of the Prosecutor General"s Office.
According to the same source, Mammadov was taken to the prosecutor's office in connection with his appeal about the return of the computer seized during the investigation.

Of the Baku Serious Crimes Court on March 18, 2019, and not the entry into force of the verdict, the computer was not returned to him, the report said.
* In March of this year, Anar Mammadov was sentenced to 5.5 years of imprisonment with a two-year probation period on charges of anti-state appeals, abuse of power and official forgery. The reason for criminal prosecution was the publication on the website criminal.az about the assassination attempt on the former head of the city of Ganja Elmar Veliyev.
