Search for Missing Climbers Continues
Baku / 29.12.17 / Turan: The search for the missing three mountaineers on December 23 has not yielded results yet.
According to the Ministry of Emergencies, the search continues, and the public will be provided with additional information.
Members of the sports club of air and extreme sports Gilavar Farida Jabrailzadeh, Babur Huseynov and Namin Bunyadzadeh departed from the Khynalyg village of the Guba region to climb Mount Tufandag on December 23.
The search works began only three days after the information on the disappearance of the climbers was received by the Ministry of Emergency Situations (MES). The search involves helicopters MI-17 from the aviation squad of the MES, a search and rescue group of the North-Regional Center of the MES, a rescue group of the Emergency Rescue Service of the MES, as well as a detachment of volunteer climbers. -16D--
