SOCAR begins to employ the dismissed
SOCAR ( State Oil Company of Azerbaijan ) has launched the competition for employment vacancies of employees dismissed after the structural change.
According to SOCAR, the Department of Human Resources on Friday passed the first test exams for vacancies "Energetic" and "Engineer training."
The tests were conducted in electronic form and included 40 questions on a specialty. Applicants are given 60 minutes to answer. Each job is estimated at one point , wrong answers do not affect the correct answers.
Those who respond to 50% of the questions, gaining a passing grade . Scored the highest score shall be employed . The rest are included in the reserve base, and if there is a vacancy on their specialty, are employed without repeated examinations.
Failing to pass can apply for jobs in other specialties in SOCAR.
Among the dismissed are persons without special skills. Theywill be given a job if there is a need.
In addition, some of the workers , whose layoffs are expected, will be able to learn a second profession in training centers and employed in the event staffing needs.
Independent experts believe that in the course of structural reforms in SOCAR will be cut thousands of employees. Total the company today employs more than 60,000 people. -03D06-
