Taleh Bagirzadehs Wife about Incident with Phone
Baku / 25.03.19 / Turan: The wife of the convicted leader of the Muslim Unity movement, Taleh Bagirzadeh, clarified the message of the Prison Service about finding a mobile phone in her things when visiting her husband in the Gobustan prison.
According to her, the phone belongs to her father-in-law, who played with her young son, who took the phone along with his toys.
"On March 21, when visiting Taleh for a lengthy meeting, a mobile phone Samsung Grant was found in a bag among the toys of our 3-year-old son. I immediately said that this is our phone and it belongs to the child"s grandfather," Lala Ismailzadeh told Turan.
They took testimony from her and the withdrawal of the phone was registered. "We are surprised at the hype raised around this," she said. Ismailzadeh added that the Prison Service is investigating the matter and the results are unknown.
"Be that as it may, there is no point in raising a rush around this, spreading information in the media and on television," Ismailzadeh said.
According to her, prison officers called this number and made sure that the number was not active. "The child uses it to watch cartoons," she clarified.
Recall that Taleh Bagirzadeh was arrested during a special operation in Nardaran on November 26, 2015 and sentenced to 20 years in prison. Human rights organizations recognize him as a "prisoner of conscience." -03B06-
