The fire occurred at about 2:00 a.m. on the Street S.Rustamov in the house, whose owner refuses to leave his real estate, disagreeing with the terms of the construction company Grand Plaza. The houses of his neighbors were destroyed by the workers' companies, on February 1, the house burnt down in the middle.

In an interview with Turan, the owner said that the cause of the fire was a faulty electrical wiring. But the neighbors of the fire victims say that the one-story house was set on fire by people from the Grand Plaza, with whom the fire victims met in the morning and the parties agreed on something. A saleswoman of a nearby store told Turan that shortly before the fire, at night, she saw two young people walking around the burnt house.

The deputy head of the Nasimi district Executive Power, Gurban Ismailov, visited the place fire. On the same day, 22 residents of the quarter met with Ismailov in the building of the district's office. Turan corresponded also attended the meeting.

Before the meeting in the Executive Power, the residents made a collective appeal to the regional authorities demanding to stop the attacks of the Grand Plaza company, dismantle the construction fence around the block, stop the illegal demolition of individual apartments in the quarter, clarify the future of residents who do not know the powers of this construction company, and are confident in the fraud of its leadership. After the insistent demands of the tenants, the application was registered in the office of the district authority.

Gurban Ismailov assured citizens of the legality of Grand Plaza rights, with which the district's Executive Power signed a contract for the demolition of old houses and the construction of a new houses within the framework of the "Pilot Project" of the government known to the people as the 86th order of the Cabinet of 2016. Ismailov accepted the discontent of the tenants who complained about deliberately bringing the workers of their house into an unfit for housing condition, disturbing their peace of mind by construction works ("even on the mourning day of January 20"), but said that the district's district will not allow violation of citizens' housing rights. Ismailov believes that compensation in the amount of 1,500 manats per square meter of the old living space, plus at least 20% of the added space in the new house are enough to exchange the old apartment for a new one. "No one will give you more than 1.500 in spite of the fact that in some houses construction companies gave residents a large sum," the official said. According to him, the "pilot project" provides for a one and a half thousand compensation, with a larger amount of compensation "The pilot project will become impracticable," the official said. This project came to the district from the Presidential Administration, the project is controlled by the administration and will be executed.

In the introductory speech the representative of the residents declared Gurbanov, they, as citizens of Azerbaijan, are ready to fulfill any presidential desire.

In Nasimi district within the framework of the "Pilot Project" new housing will be built by the 31st construction company, and the number of these companies is increasing. Not only dilapidated and emergency houses, but also houses suitable for living, "the architectural appearance of which does not meet the requirements of Baku," will be demolished, clarified Gurban Ismailov. The houses at the indicated address were built in 1936, not accidental, but as Ismailov's speech suggests, the appearance of this quarter disrupts the architectural view of the capital and therefore the houses must necessarily be demolished.

The allegations of citizens about the fraudulent history of Grand Plaza Gurban Ismayilov are dismissed as insolvent, because "the district's Executive Power does not conclude an agreement with every passer-by." The Executive Power undertakes all responsibility for providing people with new housing, added Ismailov.

The Deputy Head of the Nasimi District Executive Power promised to take into account the insignificant demands of the tenants concerning garbage and noise from the work of the builders.

Residents of the district left the district authorities dissatisfied, considering themselves deceived, because they did not receive the main thing - they did not have enough time to live in their house, compensation is not enough, and they do not have confidence in a decent measurement of the lost apartment.

Shushinsky, who refuse to sign the agreement on moving to other houses, to which they are inclined by the said company. Residents sent complaints to many state stations. An effective response was received only from the unit of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, whose employees conducted on-site inspections and found a violation by the construction company of safety standards during construction. In an official letter to the Grand Plaza, the Ministry of Emergency Situations demands to correct the shortcomings, otherwise the construction work at this place will be stopped.
