The increase of social benefits

Baku/30.08.13/Turan : The president of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev signed a decree "On increasing the size of social benefits" from September 1, 2013: 

- at the age - 60 manats;

- disability benefits if the disability  is due to a "common disease", " disease during military service", "employment injury and professional disease" , " stay in the zone of military operations", " in connection with the liquidation the accident at the Chernobyl nuclear power plant ":

I  group disabled  - 67 manat

II group - 50 manat

III group disabled  - 43 manat ;

- If the disability occurred "as a  result of protection of the territorial integrity, independence and constitutional order of the Republic of Azerbaijan" and "in connection with the events of 20 January 1990 ":

I  group disabled  - 83 manat

II group disabled - 66 manat

III group disabled  - 60 manats;

- If the disability occurred "in connection with military service at the Chernobyl nuclear power plant " or " due to fulfilling military duties ":

I  group disabled - 77 manat

II group disabled - 66 manat

 III group disabled  - 50 manats;

- Allowance for  disabled children under 18 years old - 67 manat;

- Allowance for the  family provider - 55 manats;

- Benefits for people  not eligible for a retirement pension who have received the title of a war veteran for participation in combat operations for the territorial integrity of the Republic of Azerbaijan, persons awarded orders and medals for their selfless work in the rear in 1941-1945 , and others - 37 manats;

- the grant of conscripted children of active military service - 55 manat;

- Benefit  for guardians ( trustees) of children who have lost parents and deprived of parental care - 50 manats;

- low-income families with a child under the age of one year - 45 manat;

- allowance for children of martyrs - 17 manat;

- Children of war invalids , persons who became disabled during the events of January 20 , parents who became  first and second  groups disabled , or died as a result of the Chernobyl accident, as well as  for liquidators of the Chernobyl accident - 12 manat.

In addition, new  size of one-time benefits are determined :

- The annual benefit for the treatment of persons affected by the radiation accident - 195 manat;

- Allowance for the birth of a child - 90 manat;

- Allowance for funeral - 120 manat.—06D--
