Baku/10.07.18/Turan: The location of the journalist, the editor-in-chief of the site azel.az Afgan Sadygly is still unknown, Turan was told by the wife of journalist Sevinj Sadigova.
She said that despite Sadigli was sentenced by the decision of the Narimanov District Court to 30 days of imprisonment under the Article 510 in the administrative order, he does n is not in the temporary detention facility in Narimanov.
Four days passed since his detention on July 6 in Jalilabad, but his family is not informed where the journalist is kept. The only thing that was reported to his relatives was that he was brought to Baku.
A. Sadigli was released on May 23 after an 18-month sentence. He was arrested on November 22, 2016. He was accused of beating a woman in the building of the executive power of the Jalilabad region. Sadigli was sentenced to 2.5 years, but then the term was reduced to 1.5 years imprisonment. After his release, he stated that he had been convicted on a false charge and intended to seek recognition of the illegality of his arrest at the European Court of Human Rights. -0--
