Armenians start rally in front of peacekeepers' headquarters, demanding opening of Lachin road
Baku/28.12.22/Turan: A group of Armenians has been holding a rally in front of the Russian peacekeepers' headquarters at Khojaly airport since the evening of December 27. Armenian media reported that the organizer of the rally, Tigran Petrosyan, handed over a demand to the deputy commander of the peacekeepers to meet with commander Andrey Volkov. Having received no unequivocal answer, Petrosyan stated that the participants would remain on the airport territory until Volkov himself comes out to them.
"We must meet exactly with Andrey Volkov and tell him to convey our demands to his superiors so that the peacekeepers open the Lachin road," Petrosyan said.
It ought to be noted that there are Russian and Armenian flags hanging in front of the peacekeepers' headquarters. If one can understand the Russian flag, what does this have to do with the Armenian flag? -02D-
