Russian armed forces shelled diplomatic missions of four countries in Ukraine
Baku/08.03.22/Turan: The Ukrainian Foreign Ministry strongly condemned the shelling by the Russian armed forces of buildings of foreign diplomatic institutions in Ukraine - Greece, Slovenia, Azerbaijan and Albania. The Foreign Ministry said in a statement.
"As a result of missile and bomb attacks by the Russian army in Mariupol, the building where the Consulate General of Greece and the office of the OSCE Special Monitoring Mission were located was damaged, as well as the premises of the Honorary Consulates of Slovenia, Azerbaijan and Albania in Kharkov were destroyed," the document reads.
The attack on the buildings of the diplomatic missions grossly violates the international humanitarian law and the Vienna conventions on diplomatic and consular relations.
