The film about Azerbaijani officer involved in the creation of the Azerbaijani and Polish armies
A documentary film about the Azerbaijani officer Velibek Yadygyarov who left a special mark on the Azerbaijani and Polish military history is being made in Poland . Velibek Yadygyarov, member of the First World War, from 1918 squadron commander of the National Army of Azerbaijan , after the entry of the 11th Red Army in Azerbaijan in April 1920 with his unit fought retreated into Georgia. In 1921 he emigrated to Turkey, and then to Poland. There he served in the People's Army as Chief of Regional Operations Division, and commander of the 10th Infantry Division.
He fought against the Nazis after Germany attacked Poland on September 11, 1939. After the occupation of Poland he commanded a regiment in the Territorial Army during the Warsaw Uprising in 1944. After the war he emigrated to Argentina. He died on December 13, 1971 in Buynes Aires. In 2000 he was reburied in Poland.
The film is being shot in three countries. "Filming has been completed in Georgia and Poland, and after the shooting in Azerbaijan in June-July, the film will be presented to the audience," said the director of the film Tahir Aliyev.
The partners in making the film are the Polish director Leshi Lyubah and the "Kaleydoskop" film studio.
Azerbaijani Ambassador to Poland, Hasan Hasanov, who is one of the authors of the idea of the film, provides the necessary assistance to the filmmakers.
Filming at the order of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism is the film studio "Salnama". The scenario writer is Ramil Alakbarov, producer Mehsim Mehsimov,and technical support provides Region TV.-0-
