Heads of Government of the CIS countries in Ashgabat on Friday to discuss the implementation of the Agreement on free trade and cooperation in the field of nuclear safety.
The agenda included 19 questions, including 30 documents. In the spotlight is the task of development of economic cooperation of the CIS states, cooperation in the field of nuclear and radiation safety in the humanitarian sector, in tourism, as well as a number of fiscal issues.
The heads of government discussed the implementation of the Treaty provisions on free trade zone of 18 October 2011, including the drafting of an agreement on free trade in services and the protocol on rules and procedures regulating public procurement.
It is expected to take the concept of nuclear and radiation safety of the CIS countries in the field of atomic energy for peaceful purposes, aimed at establishing general principles and definition of the basic problems in these areas. In addition, to be considered is a report on the activities of the Intergovernmental Council for the exploration, use and protection of resources in 2011-2013, as well as a report on the state of competition and the market pricing of oil and oil products, aimed at the development of competition in these areas.
The agenda included the budgetary and financial matters, including, in 2015, allocating funds for the implementation of a plan of action to implement the main directions of further development of health and social care and quality of life for war veterans - members of local conflicts and their families, as well as the creation of and the development of the united air defense system of the CIS states.
It is expected that the plan will be approved as priority actions to 2015-2016 years. Past experience confirms the value of the plan as a tool for coordination of multilateral cooperation in the field of culture, education, science, information and mass communications, publishing, sports, healthy lifestyles, youth work.
The Heads of Government approved the Action Plan for 2015-2017 years on the implementation of the Strategy Development Cooperation of the CIS in the field of tourism for the period up to 2020.
Interestingly, the status of the basic organizations of the CIS countries will be given only to members of EurAzES. --17D-
