Construction Sector Invested 8.4 bn AZN
In January-August this year, investments in fixed assets in Azerbaijan amounted to 8.4 billion manat. This is a 28.4% increase over the same period of 2011. Each 44 of 100 manat was aimed at building sector accounts for capital expenditures from the state budget.
According to the committee, the share of domestic investment in capital construction from the beginning of the year was 76.9%. While domestic investment rose by 34.6%. It should be noted that, apart from the state budget for the implementation of investment projects, financing of such measures (improvement of cities and regions, the construction and reconstruction of roads between villages, etc.) are orders of the head of state from the Reserve Fund of the President in the State budget. Donor of the construction is also the State Oil Fund of Azerbaijan.
This year, houses with total area of 1,068,000 sq m were put in operation. -08D-
