External Debt Per Capita Reached $ 1,080 - Gubad Ibadoglu
On July 1, 2016 international financial and banking institutions and other credit organizations signed loan agreements totaling $ 10.6 billion with Azerbaijan.

Credits used on these contracts amounted to $ 7.6 billion. The amount of loans used on the signed agreements accounted for 20% of GDP. Used loans per capita amounted to $ 782.6 and $ 1,080 under agreements signed as a whole.
As of July 1, 2016, 68.5% of the loans obtained within the external debt were in dollars, 18.3% in euros, 3.7% in Japanese yen, and 1.7% in other currencies.
39.2% of the loans were attracted on the stable interest rate and 60.8% on the changing rate.
53.2% of the loans were raised for up to 10 years, 41.2% - for 10 to 20 years, and 5.6% - for more than 20 years.
The internal state debt for this period amounted to 7.3 billion manat. ----71D
