Increasing lending volume of real estate transactions
The portfolio of commercial banks in Azerbaijan lending real estate transactions (including mortgage loans) on May 1, 2014 was 964.9 million (8.3% to the beginning of the year, i.e. 890.8 million).
Compared with March, banks lending portfolio of real estate operations increased by 6.5% - the report says the CBA.
In general, lending transactions with the construction and purchase of real estate accounts for 5.9% of the total loan portfolio of banks, whereas the results of 2013 the figure was 5.8%.
As previously reported, in 2013, the portfolio of commercial banks in Azerbaijan lending real estate transactions increased 26.6%. - 17D-
