Long-term and short-term savings individuals grew in proportion to August
Deposits of credit organizations in Azerbaijan increased in August 2013 by 6.4 million or 0.1 % to $ 11,661.5 million manat. Over the past 12 months , three of which there was a decline , the figure rose to 1,783.2 million or 19.3%.
In the reporting month, just manat attachments rose. The volume of funds amounted to 6016.8 manat mln. , And its share in the total deposit portfolio of banks increased in August to 51.6 %. A year earlier, the share of resources manat stood at 46.4%.
By the beginning of September individuals in the bank deposits and investments in the amount of 6090.4 million manats , which corresponds to 52.2 % of the total figure ( 51.6 % a month earlier ) . Short-term investments of individuals in the reporting month increased by 40.5 million or 1.2% to 3492.7 million manat. Long-term savings by individuals increased by 30.6 million or 1.2% to 2597.7 million manat.
Time deposits decreased to 7,512.5 million or 64.4% of the total. The total demand deposits stood at 4149 million manat.
According to the Central Bank of Azerbaijan , the average rate of the manat deposits and deposits decreased in August by 0.04 percentage points to 9.45 % on savings in foreign currency - by 0.03 percentage points to 10.01 %. In the reporting month, the manat deposits accepted from individuals an average of 9.94 % per annum , the currency - at 10.43 %. For legal entities , the figures were 5.20% and 4.41 %, respectively. - 15B -

Azerbaijani internet service providers Aztelekom and Baktelekom will introduce substantial changes to their pricing structure starting August 15, the companies announced today. Under the new tariffs, the minimum internet speed will rise to 100 Mbit/s, with the cost per Mbit/s decreasing from 0.45 AZN to 0.25 AZN. As a result, monthly charges will be set at 25 AZN for 100 Mbit/s, 30 AZN for 150 Mbit/s, and 36 AZN for 250 Mbit/s.
