Ltd. Azersun Holding has begun to create a logistics center in Aktau
In the Special Economic Zone (SEZ) Sea Port Aktau a project was launched to create a manufacturing and logistics center. On the first phase of the project, LLC Azersun Holding will spend $ 20 million.
On Saturday, June 28th, the ceremony of laying the foundation of the logistics center was held with the participation of the Minister of Economy and Industry of Azerbaijan Shahin Mustafayev. The company Azersun Logistics Center was granted a certificate of participation in SEZ Sea Port Aktau. According to the draft, the storage space of the center is 10 thousand square meters, which will be used for transshipment of goods from Azerbaijan to Kazakhstan and in the opposite direction. The Azerbaijani government has provided Azersun Holding a long-term soft loan from the National Fund for Entrepreneurship Support.
Attending the ceremony, the President of Ltd. Azersun Holding Abdolbari Gezal said that the second phase of the project envisages the creation of sorting and packaging infrastructure, as well as production and processing enterprises.
Azersun Holding has been in operation since 1991. The group of companies is a leader in food production, trade and agriculture. It also has subsidiaries in different countries (Russia, Sri Lanka, etc.). -0-
