Medical and labor expert commission rejected fifth of imaginary patients
21% of the people that applied from January to July in the medical labor commissions of experts (MLCE, 4,560 of 21,720 people) were considered healthy. They are denied social security contributions - said Minister of Labor and Social Welfare Salim Muslimov at the meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers, dedicated to the socio-economic development in the first half of 2014.
According to him, a considerable number of people with disabilities (4000 of 107,000) were rehabilitated. Wheelchairs provided 412 patients.
By July 1, the Ministry received 22,050 written complaints. In addition, 698 grievances were reflected in the materials of "hot line" under the General Prosecutor of AR received on the short telephone number 161. Based on audit materials there were sacked 280 workers of the Labor Ministry and 5 cases were referred for investigation to the police. - 17D-

Azerbaijani internet service providers Aztelekom and Baktelekom will introduce substantial changes to their pricing structure starting August 15, the companies announced today. Under the new tariffs, the minimum internet speed will rise to 100 Mbit/s, with the cost per Mbit/s decreasing from 0.45 AZN to 0.25 AZN. As a result, monthly charges will be set at 25 AZN for 100 Mbit/s, 30 AZN for 150 Mbit/s, and 36 AZN for 250 Mbit/s.
