Pay another AZN 2 - Universal Fare Cards Ready for Operation
CJSC Baku Metro is ready for the presentation of generic travel cards and related equipment, which will be held tomorrow.
Residents and visitors have already seen the new cashless fare card machines Baki Kart in metro stations. From 8 August, they also will be able to take advantage of the new equipment. And they can buy a card for both underground and surface public transport.
The cost of the new card is the same - AZN 2. Old cards can be returned to the subway stations, and the cost will be compensated in the form of charge on the balance of the new card. That is, in fact, all passengers will have to pay 2 AZN for the new means of travel. According to CJSC Baku Metro, its services are daily used by about 600 thousand people (according to the number of trips). --17D-

Azerbaijani internet service providers Aztelekom and Baktelekom will introduce substantial changes to their pricing structure starting August 15, the companies announced today. Under the new tariffs, the minimum internet speed will rise to 100 Mbit/s, with the cost per Mbit/s decreasing from 0.45 AZN to 0.25 AZN. As a result, monthly charges will be set at 25 AZN for 100 Mbit/s, 30 AZN for 150 Mbit/s, and 36 AZN for 250 Mbit/s.
