Tenfold increase in additional issue of shares in the NDC
The National Depository Center (NDC) registered in January-July 2014 transactions on the additional issue of shares with a par value 3,518,461,240 manat (10.7 times more than the same period last year).
According to the structure, until August 1, they recorded 739 transactions of issuers on the additional issue of shares, of which 35 deals were worth 1,302,850,000 AZN were registered in June, which is a record of the current financial cycle. Since then issuers have concluded 32 contracts, 6 of which were in July.
Prior to August 1, NDC carried out the registration of 2,831 exchange transactions with a nominal value of 425 365 980 manat, of which 525 exchange transactions in the amount of AZN 39,460,710 were recorded in July. They registered 310 OTC transactions with securities with a par value of AZN 14,287,510 (July - 40 deals worth 2.29 million AZN).
NDC was established in September 1997. In 1999, the center was transferred to the balance of the State Committee for Securities, in connection with which re-registration of the Center was held in September 1999.
The authorized capital of the Center is 1.4 million AZN. NDC provides services to approximately 1,200 issuers. --17D-
