The business plan of the State Committee for Land and Cartography in 2014
Private consultant to prepare a business plan for the State Committee for Land and Cartography for 2014 will be selected again.
According to the State Committee for Property Affairs of Azerbaijan (SCPA), the selection of the consultant is carried out within the framework of the project "Cadastre and registration of real estate," funded by the World Bank. According to the project, one of its main objectives is to develop a business plan for the State Committee for Land and Cartography.
Companies wishing to participate in the selection, should submit their applications by 12 August, 2013. The selection is carried out by the World Bank procedures.
As previously was reported, in March 2007, the Board of Directors of the World Bank approved $30 million credit for Azerbaijan as part of the project "Cadastre and registration of real estate." The aim of the project is to provide a reliable, transparent and efficient system of registration of immovable property. Another $ 8 million for the project will provide the government of Azerbaijan.
The project consists of four components: the registration of real property that will provide more effective services to clients in the registration of property rights and the use of automated systems and services in online, improving the management of state property, the application of innovations surveying, mapping and cadastral data for the automated property registration and control systems of public property. Azerbaijani internet service providers Aztelekom and Baktelekom will introduce substantial changes to their pricing structure starting August 15, the companies announced today. Under the new tariffs, the minimum internet speed will rise to 100 Mbit/s, with the cost per Mbit/s decreasing from 0.45 AZN to 0.25 AZN. As a result, monthly charges will be set at 25 AZN for 100 Mbit/s, 30 AZN for 150 Mbit/s, and 36 AZN for 250 Mbit/s.
