The Regulations on the Technology Park
The Regulations on the technology park have been confirmed.
The Presidential Decree (http://president.az/articles/11749) has been published in the official media. The document regulates the issues related to the creation and management of industrial parks, as well as the conduct of activities in their lineup.
According to it, science parks are at public research and educational institutions or independent structures. For more efficient construction of Technopark an operator may be invited by competition. The management company and the operator cannot carry out activities as a resident of the technology park.
The Regulations specify the functions of the authorized body, which include the preparation of the annual report on the activities of Technopark, operator selection, the head of state proposals for the elimination of Technopark, etc.
In addition, the Regulation covers the activities of the management organization and residents of Technopark. The document also regulates land use industrial parks. Land for rent in Technopark to residents is given by the management organization.
The Regulation also states that at the state, municipal and private lands, joint industrial parks can be set. - 17D-
