Ali Abbasov Travels to Israel to Discuss Cyber Security
The Minister of Communications and Information Technologies Ali Abbasov will arrive in Israel next week to participate in an international conference on cyber security. This was reported by the Israeli media that quoted the Foreign Ministry of the country.
The conference of Homeland Security in 2014 will be held in Tel Aviv from November 9 to 12. The event is organized jointly by the ministries of foreign affairs, economy, defense and internal security and a number of other agencies in Israel for already three years.
One of the key matters, which might interest the Azerbaijani minister, is security of energy facilities, in particular oil and gas fields.
Recall that last week a delegation headed by the Minister of the Interior Ramil Usubov visited Israel. The visit took place at the invitation of the Ministry of Defense of Israel. Within two days, the sides discussed issues of expanding ties between the security forces of the two countries and cooperation in the fight against crime.
In September, the Israeli Defense Minister Moshe Ya'alon visited Baku. It was the first visit of the Minister of Defense of Israel to Azerbaijan. -02D-
