Grigoryan's provocation will not go unanswered - Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry
Baku/03.09.22/Turan: The illegal visit of the Secretary of the Security Council of Armenia Armen Grigoryan on September 2 to the city of Khankendi of the Republic of Azerbaijan is another provocation by the Armenian side and undermines efforts to normalize relations between the two states, the press service of the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry.
“This illegal step, taken by the official of Armenia immediately after the regular meeting of the leaders of Azerbaijan and Armenia in Brussels, not only casts a shadow on the agreements reached during the meeting, but also clearly demonstrates the insincerity of the Armenian side in the normalization process,” the message of the Foreign Ministry of Azerbaijan notes.
Grigoryan's illegal visit to Khankendi shows that "Armenia's statements about not having territorial claims against Azerbaijan and accepting the principles of sovereignty and state borders are far from sincerity."
This is also the disrespect of official Yerevan to the efforts of international mediators, the commentary of the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry.
"We strongly condemn the provocative step of the representative of Armenia and emphasize that any steps taken against the territorial integrity of Azerbaijan in international borders will not go unanswered," the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry said. --06B--
