KLO protested the arrival of Armenian MPs in Baku
Bakı / 22.09.17 / Turan: A group of activists of the Karabakh Liberation Organization (KLO) held a protest action in front of the MilliMejlis. The picket was held in protest against participation of MPs from Armenia at the event of the PA "Euronest" held in Baku, the KLO said.The participants of the action raised posters with slogans "Down with the representatives of the aggressor Armenia!", "Shame on those who invited the representatives of Armenia!", etc.However, soon after the action began, the police evicted its participants from the parliament building.The resolution of the picket says that until the liberation of the territories of Azerbaijan occupied by Armenia, there should be no contacts with this country.

According to the Turkish newspaper Sabah, officials from the Istanbul Prosecutor's Office's Anti-Smuggling Unit have detained an Azerbaijani citizen with a large shipment of gold. The detention took place near the Vadi İstanbul shopping center in the Sarıyer district, where a taxi was stopped. During the search, 70 kg of gold was found. The Azerbaijani citizen in the vehicle claimed ownership of the cargo and also stated that he was a diplomat. The investigation by the prosecutor's office is ongoing, reports Sabah newspaper. The media outlet does not disclose the name of the "diplomat," only his initials – M.G.Ş. The Azerbaijani Ministry of Foreign Affairs has declined to comment on the situation.
