Musavat's Decision on Picket Remains Valid
Baku / 11.11.19 / Turan: The decision of the Musavat party to hold a picket in front of the Baku Executive Power on November 12 remains in force. Despite pressure and calls to the police of more than 100 party activists in the recent days and warning them about the inadmissibility of an uncoordinated action, the Musavat Board decided to hold a picket against restrictions on freedom of assembly. This was stated to Turan by the head of the party’s press service, Mustafa Hajibayli.
* Musavat's rally was planned for November 10. However, the Baku Executive Power proposed that the party hold an action in the village of Lokbatan.
Musavat found this proposal unacceptable and announced that it would hold a rally on November 12 in front of the Executive in protest against a violation of freedom of assembly. —06D--
