Putin’s Phone Talks with Aliyev and Sargsyan
On the initiative of the Russian side President Vladimir Putin had phone talks with the President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and the President of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan, the Kremlin press service said.
In turn, the press service of the Azerbaijani President reported that Putin during the telephone conversation with Aliyev expressed his concern over the recent developments on the contact line of the troops and asked about the situation at the front. The Russian President stressed the importance of strengthening the ceasefire.
President Ilham Aliyev for his part noted that despite the fact that on the first day the Azerbaijan made a statement about the ceasefire, the opposite side continued military operations.
The Head of State noted that on Tuesday the ceasefire was restored, and if it is broken, the responsibility for this will lie on the Armenian side. --00---
