The authorities evict the Cinematographers Union from the Government House
On 23 January, a representative of the Mayor Office of Baku came to the office of the Union of Cinematographers (UC) , and demanded to leave the premises. The workers began to take out things and documents, according to the Secretary of the UC, Ali Isa Jabbarov.
According to him, the representative of the Mayor Office did not present any documents.
The documentation of the UC is taken to the warehouse of the Government House, where the Union has been located for decades.
Apparently, these actions are a response to the criticism of the authorities by the head of the UC, the famous playwright Rustam Ibrahimbeyov. -02В-
