The Milli Majlis is updated only by a third
Baku / 10.02.20 / Turan: On Monday, the CEC announced preliminary data on parliamentary elections in all 125 constituencies.
In 72 districts, representatives of the New Azerbaijan Party are leading. Three candidates for deputies are from the Civil Solidarity Party, one each - from the Fatherland Party, the Democratic Reforms Party, the Civil Unity Party, Vahdat (Unity), the Popular Front Party of the United Azerbaijan Party, the Democratic Enlightenment Party, and the Great Creation Party.
Another 43 leading non-party candidates. Among them is Erkin Gadirli, a member of the Republican Alternative opposition party.
In general, two-thirds of the deputies of the previous convocation pass to the Milli Majlis. — 06D-

It is difficult to predict the future of Azerbaijan-U.S. relations under Donald Trump, said Ali Kerimli, leader of the Azerbaijan Popular Front Party (PFPA), in an interview with Turan agency. "Since Trump's team has not yet been formed, it is unclear who will be appointed Secretary of State, who is responsible for foreign policy. It is also unclear what priorities Trump's team will have for the Caucasus region," Kerimli noted. At the same time, certain assumptions can be made about Trump's policy.
