Baku / 28.11.19 / Turan: Azerbaijani customs officers seized a large shipment of heroin in a truck transported from Iran to Ukraine via Azerbaijan.
The press service of the State Customs Committee said that drugs were detected at the Bilasuvar customs checkpoint during the inspection of a “Reno” truck driven by a citizen of Ukraine Leonid Gayevsky.
There was cargo in the car, decorated as 560 rolls of “artificial leather” sent by the Iranian company “Hadyeh Golbaf Jahan Co.” to the address of the Ukrainian company “Lımıted Lıabılıty Company Kasrık Ukraıne LLC”.
However, cardboard tubes were found inside 288 rolls, in which plastic bags with heroin with a total weight of 304 kg were hidden. An investigation is underway. -16D-
