Spontaneous meetings of patriotic character in connection with the fighting in Karabakh are taking place in Azerbaijan's capital and other cities of the country. Some actions begin
during the funeral procession of martyrs. However, all groups of young people themselves organize such events, expressing solidarity in the warring soldiers, demanding to send volunteers to the front, to begin collecting blood for the wounded, and so forth.
In various cities and the capital on the balconies are hung out national flags and touring cars with flags.
Such a wave of patriotic feelings has been caused by the success of the army at the front, a manifestation of national unity and agreement in the light of national problems - the liberation of Karabakh.
Similar sentiments has not been observed in Azerbaijani society since the early '90s, when the first Karabakh war began.-02В-
