Fire in the building materials market can cause the increase of wood prices
Baku/23.08.19 / Turan: A strong fire on Thursday in the building materials market in the village of Darnagul destroyed shopping facilities on an area of 7200 square meters, according to the Ministry of Emergencies.
The fire was extinguished several hours later with the efforts of 34 pieces of equipment and 141 firefighters, as well as another 60 employees of the Emergencies Ministry Rescue Service.
At the same time, five employees of the Ministry of Emergencies suffered. Three rescuers were assisted on the spot, and two were hospitalized.
Causes of fire are not reported. Given the significant damage and disruption to this largest wood market, experts suggest an increase in wood prices for a certain period. -02D-
