Fraud of Construction Company to Be Judged by Court
The Office of the Attorney General to combat corruption has completed the investigation of illegal acts in the housing co-operative Karat.
The investigation accuses the executive director of Karat, Rovshan Hajizadeh that in collusion with Garib Amiraslanov he falsified official documents.
In particular, Rovshan Hajizadeh re-sold five already sold apartments in a new residential building, as well as 4 parking spaces. He embezzled the 1 million 112 thousand manat received for this.
Rovshan Hajizadeh is accused of fraud with damage on a large scale, official negligence, abuse of power, and Garib Amiraslanov is accused of fraud.
The case has been submitted to the Court for Serious Crimes.
Recall that in Azerbaijan, about 25 construction companies have been convicted of fraud and deception of investors since 2005. The number of defrauded citizens is thousands. -05D04-
