The website Olke.az in the article "Azerbaijan has enough foreign exchange reserves" publishes an interview with the MP Vahid Ahmedov
According to him, Azerbaijan will experience certain problems if the price of oil in the world market drops to 40-45 dollars per barrel.
He believes that while price instability in the world oil market does not pose a threat to Azerbaijan. On the one hand, there is no serious reduction in the cost of oil. On the other hand, Azerbaijan has enough foreign exchange reserves - about $ 45 billion.
The MP does not expect any economic difficulties in the near future.
In his opinion, the manat will remain stable, at least until the end of the first quarter of 2019.
At the same time, Ahmedov points to a certain influence on the economy of Azerbaijan of the cheapening national currencies in the neighboring countries - the Russian Federation, Turkey and Iran.
According to him, Azerbaijan has increased import customs tariffs on several goods so that they do not hit the local market at low prices and do not hit the local producers.
However, the MP abstained from commenting on the question of whether this is a right or wrong decision.
The website Azadliq.info publishes the article "Shameful illiteracy of teachers revealed." A well-known expert Gubad Ibadoglu comments on the results of the qualification test exam conducted by the Ministry of Education for a group of teachers in the Azerbaijani and Russian sectors of Azerbaijan schools.
The exam was held for teachers in mathematics, computer science, physics, chemistry and biology.
According to the results, 99% of the teachers in mathematics, 95% in chemistry, 94% in physics, 90% in computer science, and 49% in biology could not answer correctly more than half of the questions.
The expert wonders what will happen if the students of these teachers do not attend preparatory courses and what will be the results of the test exams held among them. -0-
