More Than Half of Corona Virus Patients in Baku
Baku / 25.04.20 / Turan: More than half of the Corona Virus infected patients in Azerbaijan are in Baku. This was announced by the chairman of the Association of Management of Territorial Medical Units of the country Ramin Bayramli at yesterday’s press conference.
So, in the capital, there are 52.1% of the infected in the country. In Baku districts, the statistics of infected people looks like this: Yasamal - 22.43%, Sabunchi - 12.2%, Nasimi - 11.15%, Binagadi - 11.37%, Nizami - 5.11%, Khatai - 5.31%, Narimanov - 6.27%, Surakhany - 5.11%, Khazar - 4.53%, Garadagh - 3.02%, Sabail - 2.3%, and Pirallahi - 0.93%.
The next large group includes those infected abroad - 13.6%.
In the regions, the number of infected people looks like this: Aran - 6.88%, Lankaran (southern region) - 8.28%, Absheron - 5.54%, Ganja-Gazakh zone - 7.62%, Guba-Khachmaz zone - 2.4 %, Karabakh zone - 1.07%, Sheki-Zagatala - 1.27%, Mountain Shirvan - 1.4%, and Nakhchivan - 0.27%.
As for the age structure of the infected, a percent of the infected were children 0-9 years old, 6% - 10-19 years old, 14% - 20-29 years old, 18% - 30-39 years old, 16% - 40-49 years old, 22% - 50-59 years old, 13% - 60-69 years old, 4% - 70-79 years old, and 2% - over 80 years old.
At the same time, mortality at the age of 40-49 years was 1 person, 50-59 - 8 people, 60-69 years old - 5 people, 70-79 years old - 3 people, over 80 years old - 4 people.
According to Bayramli, 64% of those infected recovered.
In turn, Deputy Minister of Health Viktor Gasymov said that active foci were eliminated in 25% of the country. Currently, in 12 districts there are no cases of infection at all.
More than 3 thousand people are in quarantine.
As of April 24, the total number of infected reached 1,592, including 1,013 cured and 21 dead. 558 infected remain in special treatment hospitals. The condition of 16 of them is serious, 23 - of moderate severity, and the rest - stable. Since then, 114,410 test studies have been conducted. —06B-
