On Dangers of Storing Diamonds in Car
Baku /29.10.19 / Turan: Police detained persons who stole a significant amount of money and diamond and gold jewelry from a car.
According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, on October 24, diamonds weighing 65 carats worth 14,000 manat, gold jewelry weighing 170 grams for 11,200 manat and cash of 10,000 USD, 3,000 EUR and 1,500 AZN were stolen from the “glove compartment” of the Infinity car of Baku’s resident Elshan Rahimov.
Employees of the Khatai district police department and its 37th precinct detained the residents of the Khazar district, Rufat Shahbazov and his brother Murufat, who were suspected of committing this theft.
The stolen money and jewelry were seized as material evidence. Both detainees were arrested by court order. -03D06-
