Another PFPA Activist Detained
Baku / 16.04.20 / Turan: An activist of the Popular Front Party (PFPA) Niyameddin Ahmedov was detained on April 15 when leaving the house. Prior to that, he officially received SMS permission through number 8103. The place of his detention is not known, the PFPA reported.
“Let them already say that SMS permissions do not apply to PFPA members,” the party’s representative said, recalling the arrest of a dozen activists after receiving permission to leave the house.
Niyameddin Ahmedov volunteered to protect the leader of the Popular Front Party Ali Karimli. Earlier, another guard of Karimli, Ruslan Amirov, was arrested.
PFPA claims that after the introduction of a special quarantine regime on March 24, more than 10 activists were detained and administratively arrested.
Authorities refuse to explain what caused the arrests of people who did not violate the quarantine regime. –06D-
